• Authenticate your account
• Display your saved trades and watchlists
• Provide personalized screening results

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and protected database storage.

Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services:

• Tradier and Yahoo Finance - For market data and options pricing
• Stripe - For payment processing (see Payment Information below)
• SnapTrade - For brokerage connections (optional)
• Anthropic (Claude AI) - For AI-powered trade explanations (see AI Features below)

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

AI Features

Yield Wheel uses Anthropic's Claude AI to provide plain-English explanations of your positions and trading decisions. When you use AI explanation features:

• Position data (ticker, strike, expiration, current price) is sent to Anthropic's API
• No personally identifiable information (email, name) is included in AI requests
• AI responses are generated in real-time and not stored by Anthropic beyond their standard processing

Notification Services

You may optionally connect external notification services to receive alerts about your positions:

• Telegram - If you connect Telegram, we store your Telegram chat ID to send you notifications. Your Telegram username and profile are not stored.
• Slack - If you configure Slack notifications, your webhook URL is stored securely. We do not access your Slack workspace beyond sending configured alerts.
• Pushover - If you use Pushover, your API token and user key are stored securely to send push notifications to your devices.

Alert messages may include position details (ticker, strike, status) but never include your personal information. You can disconnect these services at any time from your alert settings.

Payment Information

When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment details on our servers.

Information shared with Stripe includes:

• Your email address
• Billing information you provide
• Subscription plan details

We receive from Stripe:

• A unique customer ID (to link your subscription to your account)
• Subscription status (active, canceled, etc.)
• Invoice history and payment status

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account remains accessible on the free tier. If you request account deletion, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain certain records.
